I wasn’t expecting much from this Sky Club after my disappointing experience at the one at JFK. The food selection was pathetic with just just pretzels, dried nuts, and some strange cookie things. It’s probably worth just going to a restaurant in the terminal for some halfway decent food.
As with the JFK lounge there was plenty of seating and a good variety including some work desks. Overall the lounge looks nice and and if you’re just looking for a quick soda and a place to relax away from the sometimes hectic terminal, this is a nice place. If, on the other hand, you are looking for a quick snack, i can’t really recommend this lounge as the food is terrible.
As far as the views go, I think it could have been better if they did not have a shutter outside the window. The lounge was at the start of an “arm” so you could see all the way down the terminal.
Overall, the lounge is subpar, even for a US lounge. You could probably do better in any other airline lounge or a priority pass one. It’s good for charging anything because there is plenty of outlets but it’s not worth coming early to check out. With the upcoming changes to lounge access on May 1, it makes it even less attractive but, I hope they use the extra revenue to make improvements to the quality and variety of the free snacks on offer.
