The first day we went out to the parks, we decided to go to the Magic Kingdom. It was exciting to go back after all those years and gain a new appreciation for them. I’m not going to talk too much about them and just let the pictures speak for themselves. The Magic Kingdom has 6 distinct sections: Main Street USA, Adventureland, Frontierland, Liberty Square, Fantasyland, and Tomorrowland. Each section has it’s own theme. For example, Adventureland is themed as a remote jungle while Liberty Square is themed as colonial America.
The third day we went to Hollywood Studios. This is probably my least favorite park but has my favorite attraction: The Hollywood Hotel Tower of Terror.
Every park seems to have a centerpiece and for Hollywood Studios its the Fantasia Mickey hat.
The fourth park we went to was Epcot. This seems to be a favorite but I’m not a huge fan. It’s a pretty big park, about twice as big as Magic Kingdom, and there’s a lot of walking. At the front of the park is the iconic Spaceship Earth.
Epcot also has a whole area with a world showcase
And lots more. You can check out all the Epcot pictures here.
And the final park we went to was Animal Kingdom. In the middle of the park is the giant tree with animal carvings. This park is broken up into Oasis, Discovery Island, Africa, Rafiki’s Planet Watch, Asia, and Dinoland USA.
Many people say that Disney is for kids, but I find those people have not been to any of the parks. Disney World is fun for people of all ages and I find that there are things thrown in for adults.
